I've got dual electric cutouts, and I love them, though I gained 6rwhp and lost 9 lbs/tq... so they're there for noise only... I would vote for pulley, but wouldn't go against a cutout... though I will say this: Stay away from QTP- look into DMH, they have a 3 year warranty compared to QTP's 90 day deal- I've had theirs on my car for 2 months and already burnt out a motor!

pulley, even though its not worth more hp, it is a gain and the cutout is cool in all but unless you car runs mid 11s, don't make it sound like a 10 sec car.

I have the QTP electric cut out and I love it, before I got the cut out I had UD pullies and its not going to make a huge overall difference, the cut out is just bad ass and mine is open about 99% of the time. My vote is for the cut out....Get the UD pullies at another time cuz your stock exhaust needs to be woken up !

yep. this is why i ordered the cutout... i don't give 2 craps bout it leaking bc i plan on running it partially open most of the time. the ability to close it from inside the car is the big perk... and if the manual cutout on my old car was worth .3 and 2 mph in the 1/4, then i've got plenty of faith in it working fine for this car too. (old car was a v6, never ran it N2O without the cutout, but NA it would make a BIG difference)

+1. That's right about what i've seen with my V8 cars. I've been doing the cutout for a long time and never been dissapointed.

So what yall are saying is that there's no problems with the electric cutouts?? I'm seriously considering them.
