I ran a manual cutout for a while. Back then I had stock manifolds and cats and ran it open 24/7. Never had an issue. Now with cam, LT's, and !cats it would be instant ticket if a cop got next to me with it open. I'll run it cracked a little bit sometimes and on a rare occassion I'll open it all the way in town but usually I leave it closed when I'm in town.

Ive got manifolds to 3 inch ory. Should sound interesting. Ill have to put the cap on when I go cruising. Big time noise ordnances in the city a few miles away. The f-body crew around here with true duals and single chambers are hated by the cops cuz their legal No emission FTW! Just mufflers!

What about turndowns guys??? They make turndowns that you put on when you take off the cap. I thought about running one out the side so exhaust woudnt doom everything.

I don't know about the others out there but I *think* mine is a flowtech cutout. It's been years so I'm having a hard time remembering the brand but I think that's it. Anyhow, my studs wouldn't be long enough to do the e-cutout and a turndown. If you're just running one or the other you should be fine. The studs on mine are pretty short to begin with and the e-cutout barely fits on there. I wish I would've drilled out the studs and put longer ones on there before mounting the cutout.

not out of my car I ALWAYS make a point to open it up around the harley guys and make sure they're on my passenger side when I go by them. Taste of their own medicine.

Mine is a flowtech as well. Its in chicago right now.. lol(being shipped)

With my car as a DD the e-cutout would break fast because everytime id constantly play with the switch when some rustang pulls up to taunt

I've had mine for a couple of years and it's still working. I use it quite a bit too.
