    check gauges voltage

I was playing with this colbalt reving pretty high when i noticed my check gages light was on. My Voltage was at the 12 volt line right when it reaches red. I then let off and drove around for a wile. and the check gages light kept comin on when i hit gas and off at stop lights. Is this an alternator issue or a batter or somthing else?

Check the connections on the battery and make sure its going to be able to hold a charge. Most likely its the alternator taking a dump on you. You should have around 13.6-14.2 volts

I just took the camaro to the gm dealer and used the warrenty. The Problem actualy was the pcm mount. It broke and left the pcm dangling. witch cause a wire or somthing not to read the alternater or cause it to not to charge. Just thought i whould let you know if any other owners fell into this spot.

You still have a warrenty? Is it an extended warrenty?
