Ebay is gonna probably be the cheapest,, You can score a set of used ones probably.. HOWEVER I will advise this,,cheap headers usually come with some issues,, Poor welded and warped flanges, Slag all in the tubes, poor over all finish,, and the biggest problem of all,, Bad fit,. Cheapo headers are notorious for fitment problems, Saving a few bux is not worth having to bang a dent in a tube so it will clear, or having them banging on the floorboards, ETC. Just my .02 sometimes money saved aint worth a dime..

cheap, headers, and vette are three words generally not associated with each other

XS Power stainless headers are probably the cheapest for a C5, they are like $720 for headers and ORX.. buuuuuut, They claim they are US made but I'll wager they are not, I've seen them in person. They look a lot like those Option Racing headers for Fbodys

i will disagree with what was said about the poor quality of ebay headers...i bought the stainless ebay headers for my t/a for $160.....i am very pleased with how well they fit...the finish was fine, discolored after a while, but what headers dont..besides, you cant see them anyway....ive had them for a year and no problems.

for that price, the obx full exhaust with headers is just a little more, and it comes with hi flow cats. i guess he was just hoping that someone made a low cost alternative for headers on a vette like they do for f bodies.

Dynatech. Not the cheapest but they are such nice headers you will be happy with the money spent. Fit, Finish, Quality, and Hardware are top notch.

sounds like a good route since you are giving good review...i think $850 is a good deal for full street legal exhaust...
