Cheap Rumble

A budy of mine who works at an exhaust place has a 98 Ls1 z28. He went the cheap way out on the exhaust and just put a Flowmaster muffler inplace of the stock muffler. its the one they sell for the car. I have to say it sounds AWESOME! It has a nice low rumble at idle and a deep throaty sound when you rev it up. I was impressed with the sound.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing...but with a Borla Muffler... cause those things sound soo good... it gives me chills...

Just get a catback. It's worth the extra money. Then you'll have a bit more go to go with the sound.

Just sound is for the import ricer guys. I'd rather have power any day.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing...but with a Borla Muffler... cause those things sound soo good... it gives me chills...

a buddy of mine is selling me his borla muffler and ima try to take the lm2 muffler out and put a straight pipe in place of it. then im hoping i could do some modification to the back where the splits into two and out to the tips. im hoping i could some way fit it the borla muffler there, kind like regular mufflers go.
