Changing Cat-back ... can you do it yourself?

A buddy and I are planning on swapping my GMMG exhaust for his Borla for a while.

Is this something we can do easily in the driveway? I haven't taken a good look, but I was hoping all thats needed is to release the muffler pipes from hangers, and then unbolt the exhaust at a flange....I'm thinking just before the axle area.

Any advice is appreciated...I don't get under the car much these days.

If welding is needed, we might not do it then.

That's because you've done it a million times lol. I'd say it should be pretty easy and maybe take a few hours to pull the old one off and put the new pne on with hand tools and jack stands. Just get under there and spray PB Blaster on those bolts every day for a bout a week before you do the work so that they come loose easily!

First catback I installed on an LS1 F-Body took me just over an hour.
Hardest part was finding a sawsall to remove the stock stuff.

I always run into broken bolts, things rusted in place, or fitment issues...Just my luck I guess
