catback/header trouble?

    catback/header trouble?

    I just installed a hooker catback on my 00 t/a ws6 but in order to get the pipes to fit onto the stock y pipe they had to be cut a little short. If i get pacesetter l/t could I get a cutom y pipe to fit the exhaust?

    If you get the pacesetter LT's, they make a Y-pipe specifically for the headers. And that Y-pipe should fit the rest of the exhaust. If not, you'll have to cut off come more of your catback. But if you really need to, you can fab up a y-pipe to fit everything. I don't think it would be neccessary though.

    Which one is cut too short?

    Hooker CB has one (1) pipe running to the muffler (off the "Y" pipe) and then two (2) pipes leaving out the muffler (duals). Which one is cut too short? You should be able to slip sleeve an extension over any of them and weld if you like.
