Cat warranty
So i had my car in the shop about a month ago because i was sick of seeing my check light on. I knew from last time i had it in that the left cat was toast, or so i thought. So took it in got a major tune up, plugs/wires (they were stock) Motor vac service (cleans whole fuel system) and did all the o2 sensors. Thought it might be fixed but no the check engine light came back on that night. So i thought i was going to have to buy new cats, after doin some research i found out about the 10 yr warranty cats. SOOOOOOOOOO fast forward took it to the pontiac dealership and asked them about it, the service mgr tells me that nope, no extended warranty or service bulletins on cats then i raged and figured i had to do them myself. Priced em out and said fuck it. Took it to the GM dealership right across the road and he tells me about the extended warranty and they well have a look, got me excited because i knew thats what it is. So today take it in the am to the dealer ship, found out left cat is out and they will replace it free of charge, fuck yeah! But i figured both of them were gone so what can ya do, 1 free cat is swell. I pick it up this afternoon and took her for a nice long drive and ON COMES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. I have never been so excited for my check engine light to come on because the warranty only lasts til november of this year. So in goes the car on monday for new cat #2! two free cats fuck yeah for the extended warranty!
Anyways, long story short im'a get two brand new cats right before my warranty runs out. So if anyone else has this issue make sure to get er in to the dealership quick!
that is all

I got my car a few years back and took it for a rattle in what sounded like the cat. He told me that nope, its rear oxygen sensor and no harm other than the sound. He then followed up with, just in case we're going to change both cats if you want under warranty. That's my best experience with a stealership.
