CAI: Volant or SLP??? which is better

I've been doing a little research on which induction system to put on:

    1. The SLP cold air FLO pack: w/ cai kit, High-Flow Air-Box Lid, F-Body Smooth Bellows, and Blackwing™ Air Filter

    or

    2. Volant CAI

    3. I have run across others, but the above (2) seem best. However I am open for other suggestions

Which of these systems are better?

Also, would it be possible to use the Volant airbox, in conjunction w/ the smooth bellow and SLP CAI, for greater HP gains?

I currently have a US exotics WS9 hood... and looking for the best way to force in some more air!

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

thanks for the input... i was leaning that way any ways cause it looks so hot.

how does the volant connect to the MAF & TB, will I still need some sort of "smooth" bellow?

I'm not sure but I put in a Fernco 3" to 3" coupling from home depot for like $5. The stock bellows is pretty flexible, so I'm sure it'll fit. The Maf just goes right into the Y-pipe on the CAI, and the bellows connects it to the TB. You may need to trim the Y-pipe a little to make it fit, as well as the NEW bellows.

    Here...

Thanks... it's amazing that SLP gets away with selling a rubber coupling for $60!

has anyone cut out a section of the base of the volant to use it in conjunction with the SLP cold air kit... or is that just over kill?
