    Cable Operated Cut Out

    has anyone installed one? i wanna install one in my stock y (after the y). i just want one so i can be loud when i wanna be loud!! just wondering which one anybody has installed and how/where you ran your cable. summit only has 2 inch ones (these are only 52 bucks, mr gasket brand), but im sure someone has a 3 inch. im not expectin much performance gains, just want a toy!

    just use an adapter pipe. only way to get it. this was out like 10 plus years ago then electric just took over.

    ah id rather pay the extra money and get an electric rather than chokin it down to 2" at the cut out. . dont you think?

    true. . . i think summit has em for about 30 bucks. however i think my main purpose was to be able to be loud quickly and easily but go back to the mellow magnaflow. . .again, quickly and easily. The cable operated was gonna achieve this almost as cheap as a manual (not including my time in labor)

    its a push pull nob. . . i think of it being similar to manual chokes. . if this gives you an idea.

    It would have to be cable applied( open cut out) and spring closed. Like anything else.
