You don't need one since the only other thing that it turns with is the crank. It runs off of a seperate belt. Just leave it off and don't worry about it.

Ok, I found that out right after I posted. What I am needing to do is get rid of everything off the front of the motor except the water pump. What can I do to run the serpentine belt for the water pump only? I know that the water pump turns the opposite direction of the crank, so I will probably have to have 2 dummy pulley's to make it work. Anybody done anything like that?
Thanks

If you don't want A/C, leave the belt off.
Otherwise get a shorter belt and you can get rid of power steering too without adding/deleting any pulleys.
I don't know about deleting everything except the water pump...what are you doing about the alternator?

LT1 runs off the cam.
Does anybody make a water pump that runs std rotation like the old chevy's? If so that will allow us to just go around the crank and water pump.
Thanks

Why not just get the Meziere electric water pump? Then you dont need a belt at all.
