I'm in the header market myself, but I have to run catted-y for emmisions reasons. I'm leaning towards the Dynatech setup. Does anyone know of install issues, or clearance problems with these. Only 2 hundred more that Kooks.

I haven't heard anything other than if it's the 3 bolt connection design that those styles have more of a tendency to leak than slip fit ones. That's a lot of money for headers and ory, you can find just as good or close to those for cheaper or have custom made for less. I have not known anyone that has purchased them before so not sure.

Well Xzaero paid $850 for his ARH. I paid a little over $900 for my Kooks 1 7/8" long tubes. And from what I saw of the two headers, except for mine being a little longer, they looked exactly the same. I didn't check out the collectors, and I'm sure they are completely different, but me and him both got great deals on our headers.

I have Hooker long tube ceramic coated, almost 2 years now and like them. With their ORY it fits even higher than the stock Y pipe, but I do get occasional rattles I haven't sorted out yet. I did not get the coated ORY, just the normal one.

i really wish i had seen this before i got them. but they work pretty good, and it sounds amazing. if u can live with less than 2 inches of clearance

I have Kooks and their catted Y, no clearance/banging issues what so ever.

I fixed my rattle. The 3" ORY needed a little clearancing because it would bang against the crossmember on hard acceleration. It could be also because I did not put on new motor mounts, but anyway no more banging.

Guys dont buy cheap headers... buy quality stainless like kooks or arh. Yes they are expensive but so are the modifications and headaches that come with cheapies.

My ARH set fit perfectly out of the box with a catted y.

Ceramic Pacesetters are the only other choice other than Kooks or ARH in my honest opinion.
