Depends what your overall goals for the car are. Most street cars are fine with a ported TB. But if you need to move some serious air, then you might want to look into a larger TB. Havin gyour TB ported is usally cheaper than buying a whole new unit.

I ported my stock TB and feel like it was a worthwhile mod.

the comp i mentioned at top you do the same but you dont get your orig TB back is that like new era?

and did you have to remove everytring off the TB or just as whole ?

and what was the final size they did? did they also polish it?

yeah the bump stop should be free from new era, it allows the blade to open to a full 90 degrees at wot.

if you live where it gets below freezing (and i assume detroit does lol) it could create some probs when the car is first started. not worth the hassle for the possibility of like 1 more hp.

do aftermarket TB's come w/ the bump stop mod standard?l like the bbk and what tb should i buy brand/size?

casue this company says that they can only port to 75mm only 3mm or it will go into the casting. should i do it for only $75 or buy a new one thats bigger?
