Borla & Custom Pipes

Does anyone have borla pro xs mufflers on there car? I assume because of there cost there pretty good. My friend can get me them at dealer cost on close out from a distributor for like $60 each. I just got my LTs installed and now im going to start running the exhaust not 100% on if to go with y pipe or dual. I don’t have a lot of money but I have piping some mandrel bends and a welder.

So we’ll see how it goes. Any other input about how to run the pipes is apereaceated. Thank guys.

I think I might copy the stock y pipe with 3’’ mandrel bent piping and run the borla 3’’ in with 2 2 1/2 outlet pipes ($69 you cant go wrong). Besides the sound will I lose any performance running a y pipe. Based on reading previous posts I think the y pipe will do me just fine. I have a lot of mods besides a cam and MAF(to come next winter, along with 3.73 gear). Thanks for the help guys.

i got mac headers y pipe and the borla set up you are talking about it is very loud, be prepared.
