    Block powder coating?

    Have you guys ever powder coated ur ls block im debating because its fresh from the machineshop what do you guys think shoul I risk it? Thanks

    Powder coating is a awsome thing, it withstands alot of heat, it last for a very long time. I have a buddy that has his own powder coating shop and has done alot of different applications with it, and it has lasted very well on all of them.

    Ya I whant it to look similar to the LSX blocks Chevy orange just affraid it would get evrywere even if I metal tape evrything off still that risk. Its cleaned and ready for assembly. I guess il call a few shops and make shure they can shoot it and keep it clean.

    Just tenative dont whant to pay to get it dipped again. Anyone have any better ideas other than rattle canin it dont whant it chipin off after a few months?
