    Best type of replacement belt

I am going to replace the serpentine belt and a/c belt on my LS1. Both belts have dry rot cracks along the edges. I was going to replace them with OEM belts, but was wondering if there are any aftermarket belts that might be better? Thanks for any info.

    Thumbs up

A belt is a belt.....but the key is to change every two years....No matter what the mileage. I have used them all on my older Firebird ( 215K miles)

not when you buy a car w/ a carquest belt that chirps, replace it w/ a napa belt, still chirps, replace it w/ a oem belt and it never chirps again.
