Best long tubes for a lowered Z convertible
What are the tightest tucking long tube hedders for a lowered Z convertible. I have Mac mids right now, but am looking to upgrade to long tubes.

Anything is better than Slp. Pacesetters are fine if you want to go cheaper. I have Jet hots (aka Hookers) and there dandy-good upper mid range brand. One thing I recomend when you have them installed is to ask them to grind the k-member a bit so the header doesn't scratch (they'll know where its at).

I have American Racing hearders on my vert. With a catted Y pipe I have 4.5" clearance at stock height. ORY would tuck a little better.
These headers tuck nicely with no modification to the car, yet they don't bang the floor either which is nice.
Let us know what you end up doing... best of luck

I'd recommend Pacesetters if you're wanting some great, inexpensive headers. If you are wanting high-quality stainless steel, I'd recommend either Kooks or American Racing Headers.

yeah stay away from the slp headers unless u want ur car throwing up sparks from them hitting the road all the time
2002 z28-slp cai, slp loudmouth, slp tuned headers, slp 85 mm MAF, slp high flow cats, 3" y-pipe and collectors

ARH all the way. Especially if you are going to run their Y pipe. I am lowered on Stranos and Y pipe fitment was a big factor in me going ARH.

I have LLP's on my LT1 and my Y hits the floor. You can make anything fit good but from what I have heard is American racing is the way to go for an LS motor. LLP's need work to fit the way you want them to and yes notch that K frame.

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
I have Hooker LT and their ORY, it fits higher than the stock setup did. I did have to clearance the ORY and a couple minor grinds for the headers, but I am happy.
