Best location for e-cutout?
i just bought a e-cutout for my camaro. too good to pass up kinda deal. and was curious on the best location to install it. would it be best to install it right as the y pipe starts? or where would you recommend installing it? any input would be helpful kinda looking for a spot to get good sound out of it, and not in immediate danger of being smashed if say i go over something

Directly under the rear passenger seat. There is a spot made for it.

ditto on under the pass. rear seat. There's a grommet right there too so you can run the wiring in under the carpet and up to the console.

DOUBLE DITTO, LOL, this is the best way, when you get under the car you will see the indent in the floor where the cutout fits best in the I pipe. I even took my passenger seat out and made a small hole to fish wire inside with a coat hanger. Remember to wire to a switched 12V like the instructions say. Some guys say they wired it to the cigarette lighter but it will kill your battery if it sits a couple days.

You don't need to cut a hole. Just pull up the carpet..and run the wiring along the passenger door under the carpet...if you got long arms like me i would think you can reach it no problem.

i didnt need to cut anything except for a rubber plug thats already in the floor...cut a little slice in it to get my wiring thru and then siliconed around that. good as done

there's also a spare aux. spot in the fuse panel on the end of the dash. I put a quarter inch spade connector on the wire and plugged it in there.
