Best Headers???

What would be the best headers to put on my car or should i put them on there at all??

well i have whatever slp exhaust they put on it and the cats are like way up under there so i would need shortys right???

no u can change them out to long tubes and change the y-pipe

Long tubes are the best type of headers, i had shorties and mid's. My BBK LT's went on nice with no issues at all.

Almost everyone here will tell you that shorties are not worth the effort. Maybe like 5 HP.

what all would i have to change if i get long tubes an can you give me a price range in parts or whatever?? i can do the labor part got a shop an lift an everything

The parts i got was the BBK LT, ORY, 24" 02 Extensions, Stage 8 Bolts, Fel Pro Gaskets and Spark Plugs. You dont need to do a couple of those things but its up to you, highly recommended that you do motor mounts as well. Parts cost me about 450.00 labor for me was 200.00 if you do it yourself then you got it good.

get any lt's you can afford from pacesetter to kooks all depends on your budget. Forget 02 extensions just get some ls1 vette 02 sensors there longer and fit perfect and you'll have new 02's with the headers, and the ypipe can be catted or not depending on where you live and what you have to spend. Also no crap 02 sims get the rear 02's tuned out so there won't be issues later.
