Best exhaust for $1000
I am looking for a complete exhaust. Everything from headers back. I want to fun true duals and dual electric cutouts. What do you guys think would be the best thing to get and not exceed the $1000 limit. The labor will cost me nothing, just parts and shipping.

texas speed make a pretty badass true dual buddy had them on his TA and it sounded nice...headers I had the pacestter on my TA and liked them alot... for 1k you will most likley will have to buy something used. You can get eh pacestters and the true dual from texas speed for right about 900 but the cutouts will be more and really not sure the need for any cutouts anyway if your going true dual it be a waste of money IMO

From my understanding you have a full dual with muffler. TSP duals have pretty much no muffler and are not long at all. When I had mine, it was pretty much running straight headers.

Thank you guys for the input. I have been looking at coated Hooker Super Comp Headers and have heard that running a custom true dual exhaust with dual Magnaflow resonators would be a good sound. Have you guys ever heard of a set-up like this? How do you think it would sound?

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
Probably great. I have the Hooker Super Comp LT coated. They fit good, but the ceramic coating is wearing off after almost 3 years now. My car is dailey driven, so that is most likely why it's worn away, mostly on the bottom half. And when I put on their ORY, I gained ground clearance, after I put a couple small crimps on it to stop the rattle.

I found a link on Amazon.com for Hooker Super Comps that are stainless steel. They are about $100 more than the coated. You guys think the stainless would be the way to go?

stainless would be worth it for 100 bucks more, but i just bought tsp 1 7/8 headers and there x-pipe with dumps, cost was $1,054.17 ship to my door thats with gaskets and o2 extensions, but also bought new motor mounts from speed inc which was about 70 bucks to my door, just got this all yesterday its like christmas.

If I were doing it again, yes I would buy stainless, esp. for only $100 more.
