BBK SSI Intake, vs Holley Intake, vs LS6 intake, vs PP 96mm

Im probably going to order one of these in a few weeks and want some decent opinions and facts on which manifold flows the best. For now, I will probably keep the stock TB and port it. It says the BBK flows 15% better over the LS6. Im guessing the LS6 flows the worst but i was leaning more towards the BBK intake because the polished look. Also what is this new Professional Products 96mm Typhoon Manifold? It says it gives 17hp over the ls6. Anybody had any personal experience with this?

LS6 FTW,price and decent flow,$300.00 and its delivered to your door uses the stock fuel rails valley cover and steam lines if you want.

Fast 102 is about $900.00 and you need new valley cover bolts, steam tubes fuel rails.

BBK is aluminum and heat soaks, plus it only flows as much as the LS6.

Not sure on the other brand mentioned.

I have the PP 96mm and it doesn't get that hot honestly. I definitely could feel the difference for sure when driving it. I will be selling mine as I am going a different direction with my engine.

Ive been reading the past hour and ive been reading mixed reviews. Some say the throttle cable doesnt reach the TB. Some say its gets extremely hot, some say it doesnt get very hot over the stock and fast manifolds. So what exactly is up with that? lol

It gets hotter but not as hot as you would think. Like I can put my hand in it for a little bit before it is a little hot, but not too hot to touch. Here's a picture of it installed:

sweet, thats a 101mm tb? Did you run into any problems at all on the install or was it smooth sailing? Was there any extra parts you had to buy as in like injector O rings or that braided line?

Ls6 all the way or save for the fast there is a reason none of the pro guys run the pp or the bbk as when the heat gets to them you lose any kind of gain over the plastic intake unless you just want it for show the ls6 will support over 400 rwhp just fine that's what I have and with a cam and bolt ons I run 403

Yes that is the 101mm tb. It was pretty easy, just make sure your injectors are all the way in. I installed the fuel rail before I installed the intake in the car. The other thing is to make sure everything is absolutely lined up right otherwise you are going to have a vacuum leak (common sense I know). When I bought it everything came with it that was needed minus thread sealer for fuel rails.
