BBK LT's finally going in.
Well im finally going to install my LT's on friday hopefully if the dealer isnt to busy. The only thing im worried about is the air inj. but that he is going to remove he said so that shouldnt be an issue. I got the BBK LT's, ORY, Fel Pro gasket, Re - Tune by Frost, Stage 8 bolts and NGK TR6 plugs with future plans hehe. Once i get them installed i will post some pics and sound clips. Hopefully soon after i can get it on the dyno and see it can pull. What do you guys think it might get on the same dyno?. My sig is at the bottom, i pulled 336rwhp and 349rwtq.

Mine went in today, the y pipe got hacked to add thunderbolt cats, it was raining on the drive home so I didn't really get to test them out but it doesn't really feel much more powerful but I must say my tsp rumbler catback sure sounds pissed now, I like it. They look great under the hood and nothings hitting or rattling anywhere either.

Ok the BBK's are on. I didnt notice any power difference but i gotta get my computer tuned by frost. The ypipe does bang the flloor otherwise i can probably get away with putting something there to absorb it. Overall the guy b*tched it was going to be a hard job and he did it in 3 hours taking his time.

actually looking at it more and driving it more its the ypipe hitting the SFC directly underneath my seat. I have to warm it up and bend it a bit. The car with my exhaust cut out half way closed at WOT is hella loud.

I didn't feel mine to much either-just noticed mine was a lot louder(duals ending at axle was to loud for me to even gas it). But I did see a .3et difference at the track.

if i can get .3 in the quartermile ill be happy with that. Ill do a video of the sound and some fly by runs when i get a chance in a few days. I think it just needs a tune bad and i need to get a rubber bushing in between the ypipe and the SFC.

ok the banging stopped just put a exhaust hanger bushing in between the ypipe and the SFC and for now its fine. LOL, dont know how long it will take for the bushing to melt hopefully it will last for a little while.
Just a my thoughts on the LT's, i had a chance to go WOT on the highway for a very short stretch im mostly scared gassing it since its so loud lol. It pulled really well top end didnt really notice much in the low to mid range but then again that could be just me and not having a tune yet. Either way my goal is to hit 355-360rwhp and about 350-360rwtq so hopefully im close to that after my tune.Last edited by karpetcm; 05-15-2010 at 01:54 PM.

Same here pulls good up top but nothing special down bottom. I have cats on mine and wot is crazy loud but sounds good not raspy like some complain about. A friend was driving behind me and said he could still hear it when I was way up the road. Six gear on the highway is still good and quiet though. Probably gonna get a tune a see what she does at the track.

Ya its the same with me as long as your below 2200rpms your good even on the highway. As soon as you get above 3k its piercing, get the F*ck out of my way loud. Mine sounds raspy because i dont have cats and have my exhaust cut out half way open. I think with a tune you will feel a difference can take advantage of your mods just the same as me. Ive already talked to Frost and will be sending mine out next friday to get a re tune.

I have actually heard headers w/ hooker, and a cutout and it isn't the prettiest sound when open. Cats go a long way to cleaning up the sound, closed sounds good though.

^i might just have to put one high flow cat to kill some of the rasp and noise. I seriously doubt closing the cut out all the way will do much of anything especially at higher rpms. The only thing with doing that and ive done that in the past is i will be adding nitrous and the cat just gets destroyed. Maybe a resonator but not sure if that will help much. For now im ok with it and its fine below 3k anything higher then that is completly unexpected as to how loud it gets. Once i get the chance i will get some video of how it sounds and post it.
