BBK Fuel Rails
I purchased the BBK Rail Kit #5018 for my stock 99 WS6 TA.
The passenger side rail went on ok but the drivers side rail and crossover is hitting an L shaped braket at the back of the intake.
The bracket I'm referring to is connected to the intake manifold by two bolts (manifold bolts) and a small wiring harness is attached to the bracket.
My question is whether the bracket can be removed and will I have any problems removing two intake manifold bolts and then reinstalling them?
Thanks

Are you referring to the bracket that holds the throttle body cable and cruise control in place?
If so, then yes you'll have a lot of difficulty in just removing those 2 bolts. The only way you can get them out is by removing the intake. The last 4 bolts (the ones that are on most rear part of the intake) are under the cowl. Anytime you have to remove those bolts the whole intake needs to come off. A major PITA, but that is what is required. You will not have enough clearance to pull them completely out.

Can you take the harness off the bracket and just slightly bend it out of the way for it to clear?

Thanks for the information.
I hand to hand saw the top of the bracket off and then shape it with a dremel to get the drivers side rail in place.
I had no choice after i loosened the two intake bolts and they hit the cowl.
BBK was no help and told me they never had a customer who reported this problem.
They also couldnt help me with the fitting I needed to adapt my fuel pressure sending unit to their rails.
Last but not least, I threw away their rubber crossover hose and had a braided SS hose built.

Kind of hard to see the rails in the pics, but they look good. How's your clearance between the tensioner pulley and braided line to the solenoid? Looks kind of close...
