    Austin SSRA Kit???

I am planning on purchasing the SSRA for my Z and I was wondering if it is one of the best ways to go for ram air. Also, what are the procedures for installing it and how hard is it to do? Thanks

there is also fat toy ram air, FTRA, so what are the difference between the 2, i think FARA is made of metal, and gives hotter air?? and one takes the air from a different place. with the SSRA dont you have to drill it into ur lower bumper? and what are the add on kids that they have to the FTRA and SLP kits? does the kits make them the same as the ssra?

I bought an SLP cold air induction box when i didnt know anything about my car.. later i bought scrap metal and extended the box to force ram air into the intake. It cost me about 5-10 bucks... if your really cheap, this works..

i plan on gettin the ssra too, the only major caution ive heard with it, is steer clear of any high water (i know most of us always do this but you just have to be more cautious of it), because it will suck it into your intake.

But a lid will also benefit you with the ssra. they will work together.

i made a thread like a year ago on here after i got an installed the ssra detailing my experiences with it because almost no one on here had heard of it and everyone was stuck buying the crappy slp kit.
What CAI kit do you own? (SLP, FTRA, SSRA)

you should still get a lid with the ssra because you will need to make use of that extra aid you're bringing in.
