If you get one LS1tech you can buy them off a sponser on there. I was told the SS Auto Chrome is no longer selling them direct.

I have them on my car. I bought them from SSAutoChrome off EBAY last summer for $299 + $40 for shipping. They are no longer that price but good headers and Stainless Steel at that. They look great (high quality welds, and very shiny). I have had no issues with them and install was easy...

They are referred to as XS Stainless Steel Headers for Ls1's...

If you have anymore questions feel free to hit me up...

i've got those headers on my car too. fit good but they rub the control arms a little, and you gotta get a custom y-pipe for them. my egr provision broke off too.

i have no rubbing issues, and took off the EGR provisions when i took off the EGR period. also, i got a 2 piece Pacesetter y-pipe to fit the headers, not a custom one made...

yeah a guy sells them on ls1tech for $600 for the headers (race with no air or egr) and a matching stainless steel y pipe. he just had a sale on them for $550....BUT i contacted the company directly and they sold the whole kit to me for $475 including shipping (i'm a hustla ). i literally just received them today and they look great. hopefully i'll be able to install them when i have an entire weekend free sometime in the near future.

I have these on my car with a custom Y. I paid $299+$40 for shipping. If you can still get these for $300ish I'd say go ahead but the price has gone up. That Y pipe they sell is a complete POS!

Not from what I've seen. Also tons of slag and slop in the merge, not to mention the flat spots. There's no drop on the drivers side after the collector (to clear the floor board), which if you have these headers you'd know how high they tuck up on the drivers side. One kid got this thing and couldn't even get the drivers side of the Y on the collector all the way cause there was no room. The drivers side of the Y was completely up against the driverside floorboard with the collector half on.

Umm, all the posts over on LS1tech showed nice fitment on the Y pipe. I didnt realize they were having fitment Issues. I was planning on ordering a set. The merge on the Y pipe really doent look much worse then the Pace setter one.

Here's a little more with folks talking about the "s" bend a y pipe needs to fit these headers right. A Y pipe that is "straight" on the drivers side wont fit on it right. The XS header has a crush there but thats not enough to clear the floor board, imo. The only reason my TSP y wouldn't fit was there was no s bend. It also seems the mods deleted the thread (imagine that) where a guy posted pics of how aweful the inside of the merge looks cause I cant find it anywhere. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...ighlight=merge

You should bring your car up from Crofton tomorrow for the show here in york. Its a small show but the quality off alot of the cars is outstanding.
