I saw one in a jegs book the other day and i was wondering the same thing.
Jegs claims 10rwhp in c5 corvettes.
I just don't see how you could get that much from that piece of plastic.

You can port your own,,,,it's very easy to do and only requires a dremel and a few sanding rolls. Just some clean up work, make everything uniform.
It removes from the car in five minutes, and reinstalls just the same,,,no gaskets required. While you have it off trim back that EGR tube behind the throttle body that protudes into the air path on that 99 of yours.
These are easy mods that are considered free,,,so long as you have a dremel tool,,,but they are cheap to buy so it doesn't count,,,lol.

I would not waste your money. As others stated you can port your own tb for free. Yes that product will smooth out the air flow but at the same time it will restrict it as well. It has to insert into the tb actually making the inside diamater smaller and why would you want to do that. The whole point is to let more air in not less.
I've also heard of these things mealting inside the tb. Now that is only hearsay from the internet so there may be no true behind it, still I would not waste my money on the product.
