Send them an email and ask if it will fit under a stock SS/Z28/WS6/TA hood.

I read somewhere else that it would not fit under our factory hoods. It was from a credible source, but I don't remember where.

The hood isn't the problem (it can be changed) it's the Cowl.
Edelbrock Pro Flo XT, there's a Vid on Tech of a Truck with that intake and a Comp Mutha Thumper cam and that Pick up is a Beast.Craig

On the topic of odd intakes, has anyone ever seen a carb LS1 in an F body? Ive seen the edelbrock EFI system that looks like a carb on an lt1 and he had to trim a little on the cowl. But ive never seen a 4 barrel sitting on top sucking down the air

Theres a local kid here that did a traditonal SBC install in a V6 Camaro he used a short distributor and a Carb. He cut the cowl only to fit the 14" aircleaner.

so i guess if you ran an open carb for drag racing you might not have to cut any thing. Just get a high rise hood

nope theres a sbc no cleener at mason dixion. i dont knwo what but he had to cut a small hole for some thing, and he had to make motor mounts....

Nate Prichett runs the pro flo on an LT1.
I was considering a carb on an LS1 not converting to a SBC

There is a guy with a CETA on LS1Tech, that runs a carb.
