Ya I've heard of them. There are some members that have them. It's been awhile since I've seen any talk about them tho. What I remember was that people were happy with them.

I remember back when I had an LT1 alot of LS1 guys would get those long tubes. I dont think they are made anymore. The few guys that i knew who got them were pleased though. dont know much more, like i said I dont think they are made anymore so hardly no talk about them now.

grots were the first headers for the ls1.
every header out there is basicly a copy of them.

Suposedly they only have an aluminized coating. I don't see why he coated them because if you ceramic coat them, that coating has to come off.

QTP and Kooks both use the Grott design.

Did they give you any time frame?? Last time I e-mailed them (around a month ago) they said the headers would be back in stock in 30-45 days. Still no sign of them on eBay though.

Yea I saw that too...bullshit. They charge $299 on eBay, and then $500 on their website...what gives?? Talk about a rip off.

If you go with these headers let me know how they work out and all, I might get them too.

Sounds great...if i can't get the XS Stainless (doesn't look like its happening) or the ones you just posted, I'll probably just go with the Pacesetters. The ball flange should work the same on those though, I'd imagine the collectors are the same size, ect.

Yes, it will work the same. The machine I have at work makes the ball flanges.
