What you see is what you get. Not much to it. Disconnect hoses, remove the power steering pump from bracket, install new one, connect hoses, and fill it.

However, if you get a rebuilt pump from the auto parts store and it has no pulley, you will need a PS pulley removal/installer kit to take the pulley off the old one and put it on the new one.

Once the new pump is installed and filled with fluid, start the car and cycle the wheel back and fourth from lock to lock with the PS pump cap off to relieve any air. It will scream for a while and then quiet down once the air is purged out of it.

Besides a puller, not that i know of
Saw a thing where a guy made something to remove it, forgot where
If your doing the pump i heard good things about the Turn One Pwr Steering Pump, plus they also sell a pulley you can buy that allows you to take the pump off without removing the pulley
    looks sick too

Think they are alot more than 90, but they are supposed to keep PS fluid temps lower, supposed to better long term and for stuff like auto x

I just did mine last sunday. I bought the pump at an autoparts store for $56. with a $15 core ($71 total) without the pully and the resevior. I had the pully remover already. I had to pull the pully first to get to the two bolts holding the pump on. I didn't have a small wrench to get in there. I had to get the radiator hose out of the way first. Instead of removing it I just removed one end and loosened the other and just pulled it out of the way. Pully came off no problem, but when I went to remove the power steering line I found out that it was just loose. that's what caused the leak. I replaced the pump anyway since I had everything off. Check that line first. You might get lucky. No problem with using the old resevior either. Just make sure you use the new o-rings that the new pump comes with. Everything else as explained above. Good luck. I did mine by myself with no problems.
