    Any other suggestions?

Ok, I am getting everything ready to start modding my car, but I just want to make sure I don't miss anything while I have the car already apart.

I have an LS6 Intake Manifold I will replace my LS1 Manifold with.

I have an extra throttle body I am going to have ported.

I am about to buy Kooks 1 7/8 LT Headers, Kooks ORY, Magnaflow Catback, SLP Lid, and Tubular 2-point UMI SubFrame Connectors.

While I am changing the intake manifold and headers, should I do anything else? I have been told to replace the knock sensor as well as my motor mounts. What motor mounts are recommended that are reasonably priced? (please link these so I can easily access these).

I am also looking at possibly changing to a 160 degree thermostat and... (don't kill me!) getting stronger axles for the 10 bolt and adding 3.73 or 3.90 gears.

Anything else I may be missing? I just want to have everything done 'in order' so that I don't have to go back and re-do PITA mods (like I hear headers will be).

Edit: And last but not least, after all of this, I will probably get a mail order tune by Frost.

If you are gonna do knock sensors, do the sub harness at the same time. Just speaking form personal experience.

Save your money on the axles. It's really not worth putting the money into building the stock 10 bolt. If you are able to change gears yourself, pick a set and do it. If you're going to have.a shop do it, I wouldn't waste the money. Put the money towards getting a whole new rear instead. You will want to get a tune for sure with the mods you're listing. You're off to a good start though.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

Be careful with the OPSU when removing and installing the intake. You can't see it easily but the hose form that connects from the back of the intake to the break booster will snap the OPSU if you just pull it out. It cost about $50. Trust me I know.

When doing the headers, should I buy the oxygen sensor wiring extensions? And thanks SMWS6TA, I will be careful with the OPSU.

    Yes buy 02 extensions (you'll need 2)
If you don't have the stock header gaskets order some new ones, I'd go with gm ones because theyre metal
Also I'd change plugs while you're in there
You may want to replace the ls6 intake gaskets to avoid vacuum leaks
Motor mounts would be a good idea if you have the cash
And clean up under there lol

I would avoid the extensions, as many people have problems with them. Bosch 13111s have a long enough harness to plug right in. Many run those.
