    anti-freeze

i've noticed that when i changed my oil last (tues.) my anti-freeze was dripping out pretty thick. so i checked the water pump today and didn't really find anything wrong with the pump, but it was still leaking. i was looking around and found that somewhere there was a stream of anti-freeze coming from BEHIND the water pump somehow.. thinking about opening up the timing chain cover and checkin out the seal on it to see if it has been either replaced crappily, or if the cover is just warped. any suggestions would be helpful if anyone has any. btw my anti-freeze tank has been flushed and there's still rust/rust flakes floating around in the tank and smells like feces!

Weep hole on the underside of the waterpump, its on the bottom of the snout behind the pully.... If its comeing from there then the internal seals have gone bad and you will need a new pump, but your going to have to pin point the leak or you will just be throwing parts at the car...

Most likely the water pump/gaskets, coolant will not leak out of the timing chain cover.

figured it out. there's an elbow from the tensioner into the lower intake manifold and the part going into the intake port had been broken off inside the port. would have had to take the whole intake assembly off to get that out anyway. but, problem fixed, now just to change oil from crap going through the engine burning off and flushing the antifreeze!
