Midnight Blue- 99' Trans Am
You will get more air by cutting under the lid. I did it on mine. I heard the cold air setup is a waste of money.

its not bull, its something almost everyone around here has, called free ram air, and coupled with an air lid, it can give u better throttle response and a few rwhp

FRA is the first thing anybody should do, no hp gains but throttle response will be better. Make sure to check the filter more often due to it will get a lot more dirty.

I cut the sh1t out of the plastic under the airbox when I installed the Whisper lid on my old 99 z28. I felt a nice sotp gain with everything installed. Dyno'ed from 297rwhp stock to 323rwhp with the lid/cutout/pulley
