    Air Bellow...?

What is the part called that connects the MAF to the throttle body, I know slp makes a smooth air bellow, but I just want the stock replacement. Anyone got a name for this thing so I can look up the part?

If you need a very quick fix just go to home dept. and get some tubing to fit.

    Alright another quick question....
What do I need to connect my lid to the MAF?
And what are the dimensions for the MAF to throttle body tubing, I only wanna take this trip once, hehe.

Because it would be a waste of money.

The bellow is an appearance mod. No performance in it.
I have a Fernco piece on mine from Home Depot. $6. Basicly the exact same thing SLP rapes you for at $60.

I have a feeling you have something against SLP!! You don't like the exhaust you don't like the bellows ....... Everyone has there opinions, and are entitled to their own opinions.

I went against everbody's opinion and bought the smooth bellow. I didn't notice any HP increase, not that I expected to anyways. Just get the Ferco piece from Home Depot, should be less than $10.

So is the Home Depot piece you're talking about just a section of hose from plumbing or is it something else?

    It is called Fernco.

It is flexible plumbing basicly. Trying to remember which section I found it in....

I also couldnt justify buying the plastic SLP bellow for a whopping 60 bucks(insanity). I bought the Fernco smooth bellow but when I brought it home and comparted it side by side to the accordian style stock piece, I immediately giggled to myself, promptly returned the Fernco piece and got my 7.00 $ back.
I returned it because the diameter of the Fernco compared to the stock one was exactly the same. As far as the accordian style of the stock piece causing enough air turbulence to actually decrease HP -I seriously doubt it, but who knows.

It's just $7 man...was it even worth the extra trip back to return it? At $3+ a gallon over here it sure wouldn't be..
