Good choice. Just a word of advice, you are going to have to heat up the plastic with a hair dryer to get the MAF out of the stock box. Then I found it easiest to run some vasoline on the inside of the new lid and heat the outside to get the MAF in it. Good luck man.

You have just started a never ending slide...

    Good choice.
I remember you were looking at catbacks, decide to just go with a cutout instead?

I know I fought it for a year, maybe I will change my name to ModAddict .......ya just a Cut out...........was going to go with a LM1 but would rather spend the $400 on Christmas gifts. Come next near will be a catback. Hey can I still use my Cut out when I get a catback next year if I put it in the y-pipe ?

Have fun modding your car - it is an real addiction that sucks up money by the truckload... first it is a lid, then in six months you will be shopping heads, cams, blowers, and 2nd mortgages ;-)

I am for any of those....except for the MAF mods. Leave the MAF alone. Leave the screen for sure. Port isn't too bad, but can toss the factory tune a little off.

    Most don't.
Some do...and it isn't worth the problem that it could cause. Going lean and knocking isn't worth it...
