adding TB and Rocker arms
This last season I took my 02 T/A for a tune right after I put on LT headers. It was running great when I put it into storage. I'm gathering parts for the spring and was thinking about a slightly larger polished TB (78 to 80) and then later in the summer Crane gold series rocker arms/springs/rods etc. Will either of these effect the tune?

For the money you'll have to spend on an 85mm tb youd be better off just porting your stocker. Unless your going with a fast intake over the standard ls1 or ls6 there isnt really a need for the larger tb. You may gain a couple over a ported stocker but it isnt worth the money. Typically a ported stock one gains 5-7hp and with the 85mm it will make it run rich so a tune is not required but it would help a ported one shouldnt need a retune. Typically a ported stocker runs 75 bucks after you send in your core or you ccould do like myself and many others and follows the DIY write up on ls1howto.com

save the cash and port and polish your stocker tb and there is no real need to change your rocker arms as the stock stuff is good.

Rocker arms aren't worth the money to power ratio. Some manufactures rocker arms are known to break including a local-luckily he is getting it replaced for free. And according to a local tune shop the lower rpm's reveal slightly more power but the upper rpm's they lose top end, they said the only ones that gave gains in the upper power band were morel's. I'm no expert just passing the word along.
Everyone who has gotten a shaner throttle body has had no regrets.
