Adding a high flow cat after putting in exhaust

Hi, I was looking at ordering hooker true dual exhaust, but it says it doesn't have cats. Can I buy a pair of high flow cats and add them to the exhaust or is this impossible?

You can always add catalytic converters to an exhaust system with some cutting and fitting. Generally, the cats will need to be the high flow bullet style and you will want to position them in the system close to the header collectors. Be cognizant of your clearances as converters will run hot.

This is pretty easy to achieve.

I used the Magnaflow 59959 hi flow round ones
and they just replaced a length of the Kooks Y pipe
which was a non catted which i had to turn into a
    catted Y.

If you have Duals you'll just have a pick a spot up near
the collectors to fit them. I welded them on but if you can
have them opened up for a slip fit then band clamps would
work fine. The good ones though!! I used Accuseal throughout
and would happily use them again.
