the damn thing is gonna cost me around $600.00 to replace. Anyways, I cut the belt and will replace the unit next year when it's friggin hot outside again. Did I gain any HP? LOL.

You might have gained some, but not much. The A/C only really uses power when its turned on and is putting resistance on the belt.

The case seal leaked the compressor oil out. I pull out of the garage and see this huge oil slick on the floor. So, I get underneath and check it out. I new it wasn't motor oil because of the color. The was a relief too. I checked around and the compressor will cost me about $300 and then you have to do the freon, new belt, ect. It can wait. Headers are more important right now.
