i have a 99 TA A4 non ws6. I want to get some horsies out of her. Im looking to put some money into it. But I dont want to make the plunge into a total rebuild just yet. Looking to put some bolt ons to get to 450 plus. what mods would you guys use.

If you are talking 450 HP to the wheels, it wont happen with bolt ons. You would have to do heads/cam, nitrous, turbo or blower to achieve 450 wheel HP. You could do a lid, stall convertor, full exhaust and an LS6 intake which would really wake up your car and give you a capable 12.x car.

what do you mean by lid? who makes your rims?

The stock induction lid is restrictive. You can buy aftermarket induction lids(filter housing) that free up about 10 RWHP. Originally Posted by mrcarter
