98-99 Lid on 02
Got a 98 lid off ebay. Seems like it has the maf pushed to far back for the ebay smooth bellows.
I could just trim some off of both ends. If that's what ti needs.

the only difference I believe is the side port for the a.i.r. system breather. The length should be the same. Put that bellows in some boiling water for a few minutes and it's much easier to work with. If that fails and you still don't get it on then you could probably trim it. You could probably just trim the bellows anyhow but I would personally try to get it to work without trimming first.

I had to trim my bellows, fairly common to have to trim the bellows to get a good fitment. Try the boiling like Orion mentioned as well.

I trimmed my bellows and it still didn't work. Now I have it sitting on top of my fridge. Good thing I spent $60 on it from SLP.
God I wish I would have found this site before finding SLP....

That is what I have, shhhhhhhhhhhh.
I had to trim mine a lot to make it fit correctly. I kept thinking I was trimming way too much off, but persistence paid off. I finally got a great fit from it. Just keep trimming small portions at a time until you get a fit you like.

Haha. I know what you are saying. I trimmed...then trimmed some more...then finally was like WTF....I HATE SLP.
Anyway, I will eventually get around to getting it back on there. My lid from there doesn't fit right either. I'll be glad when I get the Procharger so I can get rid of the mf'r.

Alright, I'll try boiling then trimming. Hope we have a dry day before the snow flies so I can test the free mods, lid and bellows.

Had to do a lot of trimming. I'd say I took off nearly 2 1/4"
What ever, it works :shrugs:

My lid is the originaly SLP/Blackwing lid and the oval neck that goes to the smooth bellows hit on the back bottom side, not allowing it to seat properly.
