90mm TB stuck open 25%
I'm doing a H/C/I swap in my 2000 Trans Am. Well, yesterday I got the motor back in the car and hooked the throttle cable up to the throttle body. When I let the TB loose to close, it didn't close all the way.
How would I go about fixing this? I was thinking that my TCS was holding it back and it might reset after I plug the battery back into the car...could this be the cause?

look at where the cable end slides into the TB arm. is that hole in a different position than your original one?

Make sure the cable is in the correct throttle arm hole for your year. If it still holds open, you may have to adjust the throttle cable between the TCS and throttle body - I did with mine.

Jeez.
Camino. What TB is this? My PTM 92mm had a few different spots for the cable. I assume you have looked into this. I persoanlly wouldnt go drilling ym new expensive TB just yet. Thought I read the response from someone in your other thread. Drilling will do nothing here, JFYI. Its has to be in the cable, how many holes are in the TB? Cable isnt binding anywhere is it?

I don't know what it up, but my motor is sitting forward about an 2 inches. I checked the k-member and transmission bolts to see if I bolted the motor in slightly forward, but they were all fine.
I know I'm going to catch hell for this...but I drilled a new hole, and it works fine.TB closes and the car idles fine.

Whoa on the first part.
I think I didnt fully grasp what someone else was saying when they said "drill". If you drilled a new hole for your cable to connect to, then thats fine IMO. Did what you had to do. As long as it idle's and goes 100% TPS at WOT, your golden. I thought someone was saying to drill your blade for this problem
