2002 z28 exhuast setup?
I am wanting to get a new exhuast setup for my car. Im not sure what would be best but i can only afford the exhuast setup not the headers. I am leaning towards a magnaflow setup and was wondering what kit i should get?

I have magnaflow and i like it. It depends on what type of sound you like though. Magnaflow is more of a deep rumble that sounds stock at idle but wakes up when you get on it. If you want something that is loud all the time look into loud mouth 1 or 2.

I liked my magnaflow when I still had my cats and manifolds cuz it would open up when I got on it. Now that I have longtubes and catless y pipe I love it. It's kinda quiet when cruising but now it really opens up when I get on it.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
I have 2 Magna Flows on my TD exhaust. Even dumped at the axle it's pretty quiet til I hit the loud pedal.
67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...
2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior
2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

I have the Magnaflow catback with two single 3.5" tips. IMO looks better on camaros. Quad 4" tips look great on Trans-ams with dual openings in the rear bumper.
Sounds great at WOT, quiet at cruise (quieter than stock).

My car has the TD setup right now with a muffler on both sides the pipes coming straight back and over the rear axel. A person suggested that he thought i may have lost some HP with this setup. I am also wondering if i go with the magnaflow mufflers and tips if i would gain or lose HP.Another person said to scrap the TD setup and go with the maganflow catback system. LOL i feel like the more i learn and talk to people the more confused im getting.
