    2002 Throttle body

This might be a stupid question but I need to know the answer so I know what I need to do. Does anyone know what intake and trottle body a 2002 Z28 has stock. I have been told that all 2002 Z28 and SS Camaros came with the 80mm LS6 trottle body. Can anyone please tell me if this is true?

I dont know the exact size of everything but our 2002 Z has an ls6 intake and the throttle body is identical to one off of the 2000 SS with the plain ls1 intake (i have the 2000 TB on the 02 car btw). I would assume that they are both 75mm throttle bodies and the only difference is the intake itself.

    I couldn't put a 80mm TB on it? 78mm is the biggest?

LS6 intake does in fact come stock on 2001-2002 LS1 cars. But the LS6 intake is a 75mm and the TB (throttle body) is a 75mm also.

you could put a 85 mm if you want. but there is a transition plate to smooth the airflow to the intake.

there is also a 90mm tb but then you would need a new 90mm intake. but not till you get some big hp
