2002 ta exhaust

i need some help i have a 2002 ta ws6 and i just got my long tube headers y-pipe and high flow cat i dont know if i dont install the cat if my car will throw the check engine light can anyone help?

if you don't have the rear 02 sensors plugged in,and functioning,it will throw codes.

you could tune them out.

So if I have the sensors plugged in with no cats the check engine light won't come on ?

It'll still come on for catalytic efficiency because the air they're sensing doesn't have a low enough count of hydrocarbons and that fun stuff.
