    Another question, when installing the LS6 should I get the ls6 coolant pipes or grind down the ribs? If grinding down the ribs, anybody have some sort of writeup or can explain what I should actually grind down?

    Also, I've heard a lot of speculation about the foam under the LS6; keep it or remove it?

    im not sure on that.. never had an ls6 intake.. only FAST...

    i just blocked off my coolant pipes.. pt some cement shit in them.. dont know if you can do that with the ls6 or not..

    just do a search for it..

    just cut the coolant lines and braze them. i think its like $40 to buy the ls6 ones.

    and as far as that sensor, its easier if you remove the hose from the booster, thats what pulls across it and brakes it. i broke mine and it took 2 days to send one, then i accidently broke that one too, so it was a nightmare. youll also need a sensor socket or o2 sensor socket to put it on, that bitch is tall.

    the ls6 lines dont need cut, theyre already correct. and actually, i think in 01 and 02, the fbodies had the ls6 lines. the only difference is there is no line that runs on top of the block, just from left to right on both the front and the back.
