01-02 manifold on 98-99 Maro
We recently installed an sts kit on my friends 98-99 Camaro, we wanna run the stock manifolds and cats. We had longtubes before so we no longer have the stock cats. He got A set of 01-02 manifolds and obviously they don't work, what all would he need to run them?

As far as EGR provisions or the air system? what doesn't work, the Y-Pipe to the manifolds??

Well the EGR obviously would have to go. But what all needs to happen for that? Ive read up on modding the valley tray for something and I'd have him delete the AIR also. Just need a little direction on what all would need to change from the 98's to an '01-02 style

Are you going with a LS6 intake manifold as well. The only thing you would needs is to delete the EGR from your tune, take out the EGR system and put a plug into your LS1 intake manifold.
The other option is to get a LS6 manifold and get the newer style coolant pipes and it would work that way.
