Helped a friend do hookers and didn't have to to loosen the steering shaft or anything. Slid in like I was using Astroglide. I have QTP's in my living room waiting to go on. I'll let you know if the horror stories about their Y pipe are true.

I have pacesetters and they went in perfectly... Im upgrading to QTPs soon to match better with my TDs so i'll let you know how that goes!

For the price and quality you really cant go wrong with pacesetters....

I had pacesetters and quite frankly they were easier to install then my true dual exhaust was.

I can't imagine a header install being any easier than my Supermaxx w/catted Y. Everything fit perfectly

Pacesetter and Hooker. The recent QTPs seem to fit horrible.

Hate to hear that. I have a pair waiting to go on. I heard it was the Y that had fitment issues. Will let everybody know in a month or so when they go on.

i put pacesetters into my car, they went right in, but its still a bitch cuz u gotta jack the car up like 3 feet if you dont have a lift, then not to mention taking the old manifolds off, old plugs and wires out, taking the starter off, old exhaust and y pipe,

its a shitty job but its worth it to do yourself, i contemplated doing it for the longest time then i finally just ordered the parts and forced myself to do it. Its also good to have somebody to help you like hold the headers up when you put em in, ie getting the gaskets ligned up then starting some bolts

the hardest part for me was getting the Pacesetter ORY to fit onto the headers and catback, what a bitch.

but all said and done, the car runs better with LT's ORY plugs and wires, deff worth doing in the 20/20

+1, mine went in without having to remove or loosen anything, done in hour and 15 min with 3 guys on a loaded lift.
