    Tire Advice

Hello Guys, just picked up a 2003 supercharged Z06 putting down 558rwhp. Currently has stock rubber on it and they don't work so well. The question is is what is the widest tire I can put on there and what are some recommendations for brand. I've heard that I can mount a 315-30-18 on there vice the stock 295-35-18. I'm leaning towards the Goodrich g-force but would appreciate input. Thanks.

Drag radials will deffinetly do trick.. You drive it daily? DR's do not last so long in that environment. On the F-body they were cheap enough I didn't care but for the vette your talking a lot of cash to be replacing tires every 3 -6 months.

Also I was reading that we need to be careful on how much taller the tires we put on the back versus the front are. If the ratio is off between front and back by too much it can cause abs and traction control issues. The computer will think the front or rear tires are spinning faster than they should...

My z is stock and I just ordered some OEM f1 super cars.. If you go with something other than DR's please let us know how they work out!

I'll drive it a couple of days per week to work, not too worried about the longevity of the tires, as long as I can hook up at the stop lights.

I'm going to go with the Mickey Thompson 315 30 18's. They seem to be the best fit. Thanks to all for the input.
