service suspension

i have a 97 c5 i have a message that says servise suspension,shocks inop,max speed 80 mph.does anyone know what can cause this.

I looked every where for you to find your problem! Is your tire psi correct , and if so you might have a bad tire psi sensor... I will look mor into this for you !

If you have the F45 suspension option,which is called called Real Time Dampening or Ride Control,scan the PCM for Diagnostic Trouble Codes CO577 thru CO594.

after driving the abs and the traction control light came on,also keyless remote stopped working.took it to work and found out the bcm shorted out some how.i guess the bcm power the suspension,abs,tcs module.will replace tomorrow and post results.thaks for the help.

My 01 had the BCM replaced while still under warranty 4 or 5 years ago.
It's been fine since then. Good Luck!

got the new bcm,programed it and it took care of all of my lights, but now the windows are inop.got a bad bcm from gm.the new bcm i got had no packing,i cant beleave the way they ship stuff.i got another one comming will post results.
