seat track issues?

Any one else have their seat tracks move a bit back and forth.

I just bought a 99 C5 and both seats move frontwards on brakeing and then back again on the gas. It isn't but about 1/4-1/2 an inch but it bugs me.

i have a 99 as well mine dont do it that i notice im tall tho so my seat is all the way back, you might just be in a section of the track that was used a lot bye the other owner? just my thought.

My seats on the other hand do some thing i really dont like. the back dont lock so if i hit my brakes hard the passenger back fold forward 6 ninches it sucks if you have anything in the seat and scares the crap out of you cuz you think stuff is flying around in the car

Thanks for the reply, but they do it unless the seat is all the way back or all the way front.

Anywhere in the middle and it does it.
It seems to be in the gear drives or something.

Do a search on corvetteforum, the bushing is wearing out in the track(I think that's what it was).

Yep, common issue and the fix from what I remember is cheap but somewhat time consuming. Definately info on that other site, oh, and mine does it too

For some damm reason my home PC slows down or even locks up every time I go to Corvetteforum.
