Looks like a very well designed system. Thanks for sharing those high quality pics. Have you announced expected pricing?

Thanks for those kind words, here's another pic of the C5 intercooled TT system (same pic from 3 different angles) which shows the turbo position and exhaust manifolds more clearly, enjoy!

Pricing for the C5 twin turbo system will be finalized by the end of Sept.

Hi Guys, Here's the latest pic of the C5 twin turbo system with the MAF meter installed, the MAF meter will be retained in the APS twin turbo system and a speed density package will be a future option, enjoy!

That's a pretty neat package. Do you anticipate any ground clearance problems with the C5 (below the motor)?

No, I don't anticipate any ground clearance problem and we have covered plenty of hard test miles on very rough and undulating roads, steep access to driveways, etc, etc. All looks very positve right now and the low mount turbo design keeps the under hood temps down (nice and cool under the hood) which is a very important as LS1 engines are very power sensitive to high inlet air temps.

That's great about the clearance. I seem to scrape on every bump around.
What you say about the IAT's is definitely the truth!!! Despite a large Front Mount Intercooler, my first pass down the strip is usually the fastest.

For sure, if you have really efficient intercooling the last pass should as quick as the first pass (though that's not always the case) and it always helps to cool down the engine bay down between passes if possible, a little meth injection never hurts either.

First APS C5 twin turbo graph @ 7.6 PSI

Hi Guys, Here's the first set of power and torque graphs from the APS intercooled twin turbo system on bone stock C5 ZO6 engine at just 7.6 PSI boost pressure. As you can see from the graphs provided the rear wheel torque has been increased by approx 220 FTLBs and the rear wheel power by approx 230 whp.

The graph below shows power verus boost pressure and the peak boost is approx 8 PSI tapring off to 7.6 PSI in the higher rpm range. The boost taper (approximately 1/2 a PSI) is caused by the increased exhaust back pressure (back pressure is approx 6 PSI at max power) as we have retained the stock rear muffler in the base twin turbo system. A larger rear muffler with higher exhaust gas flow would allow full boost in the higher rpm range and this larger muffler is currently in development and will be available as an upgrade option in the near future.

Obviously the APS twin turbo system is capable of much higher power and torque at higher boost levels with a forged engine. As this C5 is owned by a private individual we purposely kept the boost conservative in order to provide safe engine operation. It's worth keeping in mind that the base turbochargers have sufficient mass air flow for around 800 to 850 whp at approx 15 PSI for the guys who want to get more serious and have the budget for a nicely prepared forged engine.

Thanks, I realy appreciate your kind words. The C5 twin turbo package had taken a long in engineering and has been a very time consuming project though the final result makes it all so worthwhile, the C5 twin turbo Corvette is just amazing to drive in all road conditions and I'm sure that the TT C5 is highly capable of a low 10 second pass with some decent drag radials, what a blast. Here's some new pics of the production C5 twin turbo system parts, the production parts in the C5 system will be identical to the pics, enjoy!

I'll have final pricing for the intercooled twin turbo system very soon (within the next day or so), I'll update you as soon as possible. Install cost would run somewhere between $2000 to $2500 at a pro shop.

    Beautiful System/Fuel Management ???

    Peter,

Your TT system design and overall system engineering looks great! It looks equal to or better engineered (front mount intercoolers) than the TT systems that Callaway used to do as a regular production option for the C4 models. What type of fuel management and fuel enrichment systems are you using on this C5 TT System?

Do you have any US dealers at this time?

    thanks,

    Steve
